2008 National Association of Letter Carriers Food Drive

Please help us Stamp Out Hunger.

On May 10th, 2008 letter carriers in more than 10,000 cities and towns across America will help collect food for the hungry.  Allen County raised over 300,000 pounds of food last year.  All food gathered by this event, is distributed by Associated Churches within their 28 food banks.  None of their product is sold.  As many of you heard, the Rescue Ministries served 2,153 meals on Easter day.  An estimated 30 million people face hunger every day in America, including more than 12 million children.  This drive is one way people can help those right here in Allen County.
